Our Vision

We are building a foundation first, and gradually rebuilding the wall "one brick at a time." Here are the Key things which the Lead Teachers & the Elders have said should be our focus:

  1. Teaching the Word
  2. Worship
  3. Application - Hand-on Activities (crafts, games, puppets, skits, etc.)
  4. Heart Training - Hearing from & listening to God as we are led by His Spirit.
  5. Engaging & encouraging the fathers - vision of the Elders (Malachi 4:6)
  6. Develop the 11-12 years old into "Junior Leader" teams

This can be summarized as "the 4 W's" => Word, Walk, Worship, Warfare

  • Word - how to study the Word, learning what the Word says, learning the stories
  • Walk - how to walk with God, hear from God, have devotions, fathers doing Deut 6
  • Worship - how to open up and truly worship with our hearts, bodies and our lives
  • Warfare - how to battle the enemy - practical steps

Goal: Seek God for His Holiness and Anointing. Ask Him how to engage the fathers, and train the next generation of leaders.

Mal 4:6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

Luke 1:17 And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.

New Curriculum: We are excited about the new Character First! curriculum which we've been using for the past month. It allows us the flexibility to focus on the 4W's goal and simplifies our teaching plans. We are now able to use a team approach with different groups leading worship, activities, small groups, teaching, etc.
